MTF MACD Bars Indicator
The MTF MACD Bars Indicator gives you a quick look at what the MACD is doing on another timeframe without constantly switching charts. The information is shown as colored bars, so you can spot changes in higher-timeframe momentum while staying focused on the chart in front of you. What I like about this approach is that the colors are not based on a simple MACD crossover alone. The indicator also checks whether the MACD is above or below the zero line. That extra detail helps separate situations that may look almost identical on a regular MACD, but are actually quite different underneath. After a while, you will probably start paying more attention to the moments when the colors change. Sometimes price still looks completely normal while the higher timeframe is already beginning to shift. That is exactly where this indicator becomes interesting.
